The New Look scalloped edge blouse

Scalloped edges on clothing items resonate with me in the same way as studs on leather accessories. I see it. I have to get it.

I saw this New Look blouse during a casual pop-in to New Look and I was beside myself. It was such a perfect piece in my eyes. Scalloped collar, detail down the front, silver buttons, an ivory colour. It was just perfect.

I wore it today and I will admit, I also wore it yesterday. This is how I get about blouses like this. Especially ones that are washable :)

I think I like the prim factor of it the most - it looks quite nice all buttoned up but then you could pair it with a skirt/short shorts for a nice juxtaposition.

It is a very sheer top so I paired it with a black body. You could go for a flesh toned piece if that's more your thing.

Yesterday I went to the Grand Prix practice sessions in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and wore it untucked....



NB: It's really hard to do outfit of the day photos when there are tons of people around!

I was never really into motor racing until I heard the cars 2 years ago. The sound is deafening and exciting and so this is my second Grand Prix. Cannot wait for the proper race tomorrow! Even though it''s a done deal for Vettel I will forever cheer on Jenson Button ;p

PS. Been wearing Voyage d'Hermes for the last few days and it's is just amazing. It's the grown up D&G Light Blue. The most refreshing fragrance I may have ever tried.  If you want a better review let me know!

  5. Lovely blouse. Is that a new watch? Formula 1 can be quite interesting and hypnotic to watch. So much money in it too! Crazy. The indian one was so expensive lots of the locals couldnt afford to go, which I think it sad. I guess it's liek the UK and the Olympics!

  8. @Ghin - ah i havent seen that show yet but you bet, I have got it in mind as something to get round to watching :)

    @Patricia - ugh I had a gelish manicure and i actually hate it because she did three layers of pink smoothie and its just too bloody pink! may paint over it with some Particuliere soon.

  12. I love Voyage de Hermès. It's a unisex perfume - adore it and would really enjoy a review if you have the time:-)I'm hesitant as to choosing Voyage de Hermès or Serge Lutens Feminité du Bois. Gorgeous too.

  38. SO JEALOUS! would love to be there trackside for the Grand Prix! Hope this shirt comes in other colours too, I cant wear white without making a mess. this week I wore a pink shirt and got sharpie all over it. Didn't wash out :/
