I ordered this white T by Alexander Wang muscle tee from shopbop and it was a bit of a tentative experiment.
Yes, the high street has some great fitting options - that I have blogged about before - but somehow this manages to feel both relaxed and luxurious. The length is perfect and the fabric itself has a flow that is especially flattering. It's one of those items that makes you feel complete. I can't recommend it enough and expect it to make a recurring appearance on this blog...much like the other items worn today :)
(Sorry about the darkness of the pics - taken before the sun went down - and sorry for not fully showing the tee. That would have been nice but hey, it's a tee :)
Jeans: Cheap Monday (the turn up obsession continues unabated...)
Tee: T by Alexander Wang - Link!
Blazer: ASOS
Sunglasses: Elizabeth and James - Fairfax ( <3 )
Bag: Celine
Perfume: Ferre by Gianfranco Ferre
Next up is my Rimmel foundation review....I gave it a few days and yes, it's love. Who would have thought a foundation that retails for less than £10 would tempt me away from my daily Chantecaille habit?
I am genuinely thrilled about this. This stuff has got to be the best drugstore...heck the best foundation....that I have tried in a long time. I am possibly over-selling this but it's great stuff, irrespective of price.
...
...ooh cliffhanger ending :p
Till tomorrow :)
- Is it worth the price?
- Is it really different from what else is out there?
- Am I buying this just so I can throw around the word Wang?

DeleteI'm a big fan of the T by Wang tshirts! I think you describe them perfectly, simple yet luxurious! Ooooh and those shades are gorg!!! :) x
ReplyDelete...i think i will be buying another in the future. :) they just feel PERFECT :)
Deleteyayyy you finally gave in to the power of the wang lolol
DeleteI never thought I would say this (as I was always told kitten heels were a big no no), but I really love your kitten heels. :)
ReplyDeletehttp://picturenoergaard.blogspot.com/
I know! I hated them for years and yet I cannot seem to take these off :) So comfy and i do think they look okay!
DeleteI am mildly disappointed at the lack of 'spot the dead bird' in the back of these pictures. (Joke) Love this look. Very casual but elegant. Sort of Audrey Hepburn vintage nod going on here :) xx
ReplyDeletehaha yes :) no dead birds today.
Deletei love those sunglasses... may have to investigate further ; ) x
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend. they have a lovely retro cat eye shape. :)
DeleteThe top is a great fit. :) Looking forward to hearing more about the Rimmel foundation (with bated breath...) x
ReplyDelete:) come back tomorrow and it should be up x
DeleteLovely outfit, simple yet sophisticated. We're waiting with baited breath for this foundation review. Such a great thing to discover a cheap and cheerful product to replace one that costs the earth x
ReplyDeleteExactly! It's quite refreshing to find a fantastic and cheap product :)
DeleteDon't know why it's taken me so long to find your blog, but you've got yourself another follower (that sounds quite creepy). Love your humour and your style!
ReplyDeletethanks Rachel! x
Deleteyet another lovely outfit!
ReplyDeleteiv been meaning to pick up one of his tshirs, because every time i see them and touch them.. i think "they might be worth it". Please keep us updated on how it washes and all of that :-)
xx
will do! got a feeling i will be wearing it ALOT :)
DeleteI just reviewed the Rimmel foundation yesterday. It's bloody brilliant. Still can't get over it; oily skin and no need to powder AND it doesn't slide off or break me out. Just...MORE PLEASE.
ReplyDeleteExactly! I was so sceptical going into trying it...didn't expect much but as soon as I applied it I knew it was going to be love :)
DeleteGreat outfit, you look beautiful! :)
ReplyDeletethanks Constanze :)
DeleteYay, a post! Those sunglasses and the ASOS blazer were made for each other. I remember a similar (same?) pairing when you featured the gorgeous New Look sequinned number. I'm going to click on the Wang link now to see the price . . !
ReplyDeleteStunning outfit! The bag still remains one of my favourites!:) Xx
ReplyDeleteOh I love everything about this outfit. So simple yet so sophisticated and that's what I like about your style. Keep Blogging :)

Need this t shirt! Have decided to stop wasting money on buying lots of cheap one wear items and start investing in something that might actually last. What size did you order, please? Not sure if I'd be a small or med. Thanks! X
ReplyDeleteA small but they run big and are designed to be quite baggy :)
DeleteAww you are so cute!!

Love the tee, and your sunglasses, looking forward to hearing about the rimmel foundation, was thinking about purchasing it as i have heard so many good things about itx
ReplyDeleteThe tee looks like the perfect tee, which I've never managed to find anywhere!
ReplyDeleteI have this top in a charcoal grey (you need it) and feel the same way about it. I definitely need more. Absolutely adore the sunglasses by the way x
ReplyDeleteI love the tee!
ReplyDeleteI am very intrigued by this foundation review, gonna hold off on the repurchase of my bare minerals until i read it I think! This tee does look pretty perfect, flattering length and drape and obviously such a necessary staple!

I love your style!! <3
ReplyDeleteI noticed that your perfume is by Ferre by Gianfranco Ferre. My favourite pair of black skinny jeans is by him, and I have been searching high and low for another pair. But, when I went to Italy they told me that the brand was out of business. If that perfume a recent purchase? If they are still in business I highly recommend their jeans, best fit and texture ever. X
ReplyDeleteI love the new Rimmel foundation too - it gives me such a nice glow but without oilyness and no caking either! win win situation x
ReplyDeleteThis is a simple yet very casual T, but not the price! ha ha
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing!
so casual and classy, love it xx
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think it's worth it to spend a bit more on a classic tee like the A. Wang ones... I mean, you get so much wear out of them! Excited for your Rimmel review :)
ReplyDeletexo, alison*elle
i love a good quality plain white t.

Great post! I am really curious to hear about your foundation review - the last time I got Rimmel foundation was in my teens!! Been a bit scared to go back lol
ReplyDeletePlease check out my blog if you get chance I am just starting out on this whole blogging thing http://jessicasjunkbox.blogspot.com/ xxx
I can never have too many white tees. They may seem simple, but a quality one that lasts is definitely worth the purchase. I'm all about the basics and small differences in detail may not be so suttle when in comes to a staple piece!

Awesome outfit - very classy - I love that! :)
ReplyDeleteLove that outfit, even down to the accessories! What necklace are you wearing? It looks nice and simple!
ReplyDelete&#^*$ I just got a bourjois foundation... cant wait for the post tomorrow though!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit, and can't wait to see the review of the Rimmel foundation!

Alexander Wang always makes the best tees! Love this simple and streamlined look
ReplyDeletehiraschaos.blogspot.com
This is such a chic look!

You look gorgeous, as always! $78 is out of my price range for a tee, but I just stocked up on my trusty Forever 21 essentials tees - I think you've mentioned them before? They never fail me: ridiculously affordable AND flattering :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for your Rimmel review...I'm on the market for a new foundation but I'm terrified of drugstore face makeup - a phobia my wallet suffers from! Do you have any tips for choosing the best shade to match your skin tone? (Drugstores in the US don't typically have testers.)
You always look so lovely!
ReplyDeleteThey are truly amazing! I live in mine! You should also try the t-shirt with sleeves, amazing! I now want one in every color :)
ReplyDeletethat outfit is so lush!
ReplyDeletethat tee looks like a dream! but I like looking glam on a (student) budget.
xo
I always eye up more expensive t-shirts and talk myself out of the purchase, but as an every day basic it really is something to invest in! Good to know they're worth the money. I'm also completely in love with your blazer!!

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about hollister, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A great read. I will certainly be back.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, I LOVE the bag :) xx
