The Sequin Sleeve Jacket

As soon as I landed in Glasgow I saw this jacket on someone. She had blonde hair and with the jacket, literally sparkled in the grey light.

Then, whilst waiting for a train at Clapham Junction a few days later I saw another girl in the same item, glimmering on the opposite platform.

It was a sign I thought. I need a sequin sleeve jacket. So I tweeted and many of you came to my rescue with links to retailers. I then found out that basically any online store you can think of sells this jacket. Prices vary slightly by the odd pound but it has definitely been doing the rounds.

I ordered from missguided in the end because they had it in my size. I haven't ordered from them before and have heard some mixed feedback so I was a bit tentative. It arrived on time and was just as I expected/hoped it would be.

Bling it on!

I love the mix of murky khaki with gold and it does definitely sparkle. I think for that reason it's best to tone down with simple basics. So that's what I did.

I wore this to work and then travelled back to Dubai in it. If there is one place in the world that can handle sequins, it's Dubai :)
