So basic

How's that for a background change? Bye bye sand and hello trees and greenery.

This is near my parents house and just before I popped to the shops I thought I would snap some OOTD pictures. In the middle of the road. With the risk of cars coming at any moment.

Ah well, I survived. And my photographer (AKA mummy) did as well.

This is most definitely an outfit for comfort. Cosy cardi. Soft, relaxed jeans. White shirt and the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever owned. They are the same model as the silver shoes I recently talked about - ASOS Spring Break.

I cannot rave about them enough. They look good but most importantly they feel good. I can wear these for hours and walk in them without looking like I am in agony. And they are cheap so I don't feel guilty if I wear them out.

I am now going to stalk ASOS on a daily basis and see what other colours they bring out. A nude and an animal print would be a dream come true.

Shirt: Brandy Melville
Cardigan: Brandy Melville
Jeans: Paige Jimmy Jimmy Boyfriend - Link! I got mine in a Shopbop sale and I have to say they are possibly my favourite pair of jeans ever...so comfortable to wear and as flattering as a boyfriend style can get.
Shoes: ASOS - Link!
Bag: Alexander Wang Rocco
Nails: Essie Bikini So Teeny (BarryM Blueberry is exactly the same shade)
Necklace: Astrid & Miyu Evil Eye in rose gold - Link!

I have been having so much fun with makeup the last few days so the next few posts will definitely be focussed on that topic.

I have been shopping my stash, rediscovering some old gems - MAC Cranberry eyeshadow being a prime example - but also buying a few bits here and there :) Space NK has been very good with the Hourglass Opaque Lipsticks and By Terry blushes, one of which I cannot stop staring at...

How frigging amazing does that look?

Anyway, see you all tomorrow :)

love your outfit, this is my favourite go to outfit for more chill days. Do those shoes fit true to size? I'm a half size normally so I have no idea which size to get!
    thank you!

    1. I just like looking at it :) It goes on pretty sheer though tbh which is a bit of a disappointment...I wouldn't mind neon pink cheeks :)

The shoes are true to size-ish. What I mean by that is that I find they are probably a teeny tiny bit bigger than actual size. It's not enough to make me order a size up though and in fact it probably works just to make them a little bit comfier.

    2. aw no that is disappointing well at least there is something pretty to look at haha.
Thank you so much for responding I'm going to keep a look out for when they re-stock my size!

  2. Ah- now this style I can steal as it is UK friendly :) Hope you are enjoying being back here for a bit :) Those shoes are a bit tempting, but having just splurged on a couple of LK Bennet pairs for the season, Im not sure my bank can quite handle an ASOS haul quite yet! I have been good today though and instead of hitting the shops, Ive cleared out a box of unloved items for Give and Makeup, and a few bits to sell.

That blush does look amazing. I have to say a big thank you though- because of you I purchased Baume de Rose (many years back) and I wear it as a night treatment so I wake up with baby soft lips :) Having almost drunk Bioderma H2O in the dark (mistaking it for water) I am a sure fire candidate for mistaking that blush for baume at night and putting it on my lips....

    1. Emma that made me laugh because that's exactly what my mum almost did today...dip her finger in and apply on lips :)

I do love a bit of LK Bennet - saw some nice pairs in there yesterday!

  7. Effortlessly chic, would love to wear boyfriend jeans but I just can't pull them off, I don't think they don't look as cute on a 5ft9 girl! Will definitely need to try these ASOS heels though, just beautiful.
