...and I got the black

After being so impressed with the white version of this ASOS dress it was only a matter of time before I felt compelled to buy the black. As I said before, it's all about the quality of the fabric - it's heavy, hangs nicely and has all the right elements to be wearable in almost every situation.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blah, blah, blah....I got greedy :)

I really love these dresses though. They do make it in grey but I think black and white are all I need....I'm not sure how grey would translate when worn. When it comes in navy though....different story! :)

I bought the size down this time and it does fit a little bit better - specifically around the waist where it's more fitted. ASOS sizing is so tricky/returning such a pain in the arse so it was a bit of a gamble.

I have so many blogposts to write - I really need to get my head down and be productive about it. One of the posts that I need to knuckle down and produce is a perfume review. I really like this fragrance so I don't know why I keep hesitating about it. Perhaps it's because the only words I can think to describe it are "lovely", "nice" and "fresh" and I think I need to do a bit better than that! :)

See you soon!

    1. 1) I can't find a purple/blue shampoo anywhere! I am still on a mission to find one.
      2) I really like the quads I have and want Cocoa Mirage at some point this year but....4 shadows from MAC would be better....I always think this about every single quad/palette I get!

  3. I got the white version but had to send it back as it was too big on the waist also! I'm still debating whether to re-order it. Did you find with sizing down that it was shorter? I think it looks a little shorter on you?!

    1. Hi Fiona - yes I think it's maybe an inch or two shorter but I don't mind...it's still a decent length and not too arse skimming :)

  13. I love these dresses on you Laura and I totally love the idea of them, but whenever I try on dresses with a fuller skirt I also feel like they make me look fat :( I think it's because my arse sticks out ridiculously so the skirt never falls right! *sighs*

Looks lovely on you though, looking forward to flurry of new blogposts :)

  16. I literally love that you never brag about anything in your blog posts. Let's be honest, we've all bought something in one colour and then bought another even though we didn't really need it. You also always look so effortlessly chic :)
