Today I wore jeans and a top.
Does anyone care? No, probably not.
Yeah, I know. This is not a particularly interesting outfit of the day. It's even less interesting when you hear the back story - I was previously wearing a grey tee from River Island which subsequently received balsamic dribble down it and I changed.
How very interesting.
When changing I resorted to a look that I like the most and that feels like "home" - the white top and the skinny jeans. It feels clean and comfortable.
I have owned the jeans for ages but have previously never been able to squeeze my arse in them. Thankfully the orthodontic treatment, and the inability to eat crusty bread/crunchy anything has had some positive side effects and with a bit of a Jeans Wiggle Dance (we have all done this) they were on! I'm really pleased about this because these are really, really nice.
They are the low rise Whitby model from ASOS and although containing the same stretchy characteristics that you find with the Ridley, these have more of a stiff quality to suck you in. For such a low price jean, they feel high quality and get a big thumbs up.
Top: Zara (this season so probably now a sale item)
Jeans: ASOS - Link!
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Pigalle flats - these are on their last legs but I cannot give up on them.
Bag: Sophie Hulme - Link!
Sunglasses: Quay Australia
Necklace: Forever21 - Link!
I'm sorry this is such a short post.
I have previously thought that it's not acceptable to post such "thin" content, feeling that I have to post some work of literal and visual art to compete in the blogosphere. The more I think this the more this feels like a chore and a task that I never can nor want to fulfil. Ultimately of course, the end result is that I just don't post - for days at a time.
Well, let's stop that cycle shall we and ensure that if we feel like blogging, whatever the length or the subject matter, we will just go ahead and do it. This is supposed to be fun after all ;)
See you soon with yet another average and non-informative post! :)
