Sidenote: I mainly chose this photo because my hair looked MAHOOSIVE.
Hello from Monaco!
I have been walking about 20,000 steps a day, taking multiple pictures of buildings and stopping at every pretty cafe I find.
It's such a refreshing change of pace when compared to Dubai:
a) The weather is bearable
b) I can physically walk on streets
So yes, the last few days have been spent exploring every inch of the Principality. We are not Guide Book people and tend to just wing it, exploring streets and seeing what opportunities come our way. Over the next few days we are venturing further afield - Cannes, St Tropez, Eze - etc. but we can firmly say that Monaco has been "done".
Today I wore my favourite outfit of the holiday so far. I saw this dress on Anna and it stubbornly stuck in my mind. I bought it without trying it on in a frenzied last minute stop in Dubai Mall before I traveled and my God, I am so glad I got it!
I had my concerns. I was worried that I might look like I had just won first prize in a Medieval fancy dress contest or that I had decided to wear my granny nightie out and about. I hope that it just misses the mark in those two respects.
I paired it with Converse as my footwear choices are limited and I don't think it's a horrible combination. You have to balance a dress like this - you can't be too pretty/girly or you will indeed look like a fancy dress entrant.
If you are also thinking of buying it, some things to note:
a) It won't accommodate big boobs. It's not tight at the chest area but its not at all generous either.
b) It falls above the knee of me (I'm 5 ft 6 isn ) so isn't short but isn't a midi either
c) I wouldn't size down - I did think about doing this but the aforementioned chest measurements would make me feel suffocated.

Can you believe what I am about to do now? I'm only going to go for a bloody run!
I have well and truly been bitten by the running bug and although I don't go very far - or very fast for that matter - I feel a total compulsion to go and do it. In defence of my madness the views are insane - I run from a high platform in Monaco, looking out to to the sea. I'll try and Snapchat it for you so you can try and relate :)
See you soon!
