I am obsessed with this stuff.
I have to thank Stacey for both making me aware of this product - and then buying it for me as a gift. (Please do follow her blog ASAP if you want the lowdown on every make up and beauty product in the world - I say this because she buys most of them with her own money and can always be relied upon for an HONEST review. )
Her description of "an Instagram filter for your face" caused a mental riot and when she presented it to both myself, Laura and Elisabeth during last week's drinks evening, I had a heart palpitation.
The official blurb that markets this fluid is complex. It's all light refraction prisms and topical photo-finishing technologies.
All you need to know is the following:
- It's a yellow-toned serum that is designed to dull the visual impact of red tones and give a more uniform shade to the skin.
- It's highly radiant. You will be glowing with ferocity. Think glazed doughnut.
- It's oil-free and non-drying.
You can apply it on it's own, mix it with a foundation or even spot-apply on cheekbones etc. I find that it works better as a base underneath a lighter foundation and then mixed with a heavier formula, like Estee Lauder Double Wear.
In any case, the effect is the same. Radiance/glow/lit from within material.
Before - just after I have applied it. No other make up on my face other than false eyelashes
It's a pain but nevertheless this is £20 very well spent and I know that this is a definite repurchase item.
If you want to feel like the glamorous glazed version of yourself then I HIGHLY recommend you commit to trying this.
